Gold mining

We hold. We develop. We mine.

Gold mining sits at the core of First Dove Limited. We acquire and hold concessions in Ghana's proven gold belts, then take them through the full development cycle ourselves.

We hold

We secure and maintain title over prospective ground, carrying the licences, community relationships and regulatory standing that come with responsible concession ownership.

We develop

Each asset is advanced systematically — exploration, drilling and resource definition through to a bankable feasibility study that establishes reserves, mine plan, capital and operating costs, and returns to a level lenders and joint-venture partners can underwrite.

We mine

Assets that clear feasibility go into production, and we produce gold.

Why gold

Gold is one of the world's most liquid commodities, traded continuously across global markets and priced in dollars against transparent international benchmarks. There is no single-buyer risk and no waiting for a market to develop — production is sold into established global demand. For our partners and financiers, that means the project risk sits in the ground and in the execution, not in the offtake.

Vision and mission

To become a leading mining company in our fields of activity, based on our established principles and values.

Gold concession portfolio · 2026 edition

Gold in the ground, on two of the most productive belts in West Africa.

First Dove Limited holds four gold concessions in Ghana totalling 105.4 km², split across the Ashanti and Sefwi gold belts — the same stratigraphy that hosts Obuasi, Chirano, Bibiani and Newmont's Akyem and Ahafo mines.

Our model is straightforward: hold surveyed ground on proven belts, develop it through exploration to a bankable feasibility study, and mine. Gold's global tradability means the product needs no offtake market to be built for it.

Every block in this portfolio sits on a registered cadastral boundary with the Minerals Commission of Ghana. Two of the four adjoin producing leases.

Belts — Ashanti and Sefwi

Belt 01 — Sefwi

Chirano (Mamnao) and Tano Extension.

The Sefwi belt runs north-east through Ghana's Western North Region and hosts the Chirano and Bibiani gold mines. First Dove holds two adjoining blocks here, together covering 54.83 km².

B · 24.54 km² — Chirano (Mamnao). Directly adjoins the Chirano Gold Mines lease along its western boundary, with the Suraw Forest Reserve to the north-east. 6°15′–6°23′N, 2°17′–2°24′W.

A · 30.29 km² — Tano Extension. The larger of the two Chirano-area blocks, sharing boundaries with Chirano Gold Mines Ltd and Chirano Exploration Ltd. Held by BNT Resources Ghana Ltd. 6°20′–6°27′N, 2°18′–2°26′W.

A 100 m buffer applies to roads, reserves and watercourses under Minerals Commission rules; the Ankobra and Tano drainages cross the licence area.

Belt 02 — Ashanti

Koniyaw and Grumesa.

The Ashanti belt is the most productive greenstone belt in West Africa, worked continuously for over 150 years through Obuasi, Konongo and Tarkwa. First Dove's two Ashanti-belt blocks cover 50.60 km² between them.

C · 8.106 km² — Koniyaw. Existing and historical workings with both oxide and sulphide potential; ten historical underground workings recorded. Oxide material near surface supports a low-capital gravity start, with the sulphide horizon below carrying the longer-term resource case.

D · 42.49 km² — Grumesa. The largest block in the portfolio; the Kayeya South deposit is covered by an NI 43-101 technical report.

Operating capability

We build with partners who already pour gold.

First Dove develops its ground alongside operators running commissioned plants in Ghana. Shown here is the commissioning of a partner's large-scale operation — a 1,000 tonne-per-day carbon-in-leach circuit with ball mill, gravity recovery and leach train, attended by the Minerals Commission, the Inspectorate and the operating team.

Why Ghana

Proven ground, settled title.

Production

Africa's largest gold producer

More gold than any other country on the continent, and over 150 years of continuous large-scale mining on these belts.

Title

A settled legal framework

Mineral rights and licence conversion run through the Minerals and Mining Act, with title held on a public cadastre.

Infrastructure

Already in place

Grid power, sealed roads, water and an experienced mining workforce serve the belts these concessions sit on.

Neighbours

Proven operators next door

Obuasi, Chirano, Bibiani, Akyem and Ahafo work the same stratigraphy — the geology is not speculative.

This portfolio summary is an introduction to First Dove Limited's gold concessions and is not an offer of securities. Areas and boundaries are as recorded on Minerals Commission cadastre sheets dated 15 November 2024. Partner production figures are as presented by the operator.
